yeah, some of these tech deals are hard to figure based on reviews....40% of the population are luddites who can screw up anything technical and give bad reviews based on their stupidity, and another 40% are the people writing bs reviews to up a products rating which means only 20% of the reviewers actually have a clue.......ConfusedConfused
so my plan on these is to use them as backups, since they are so cheap and not as daily use, I am going to stick to the Samsungs for that.......

256MB buffer. Once that gets filled, you'll be at mediocre HDD speeds (~95MB/s). This drive isn't really worth the money when quality drives aren't that much more expensive.

It also has 2/5 stars on NewEgg with 30+ reviews.

Agreed, many times ill read the 3 star reviews to get the best idea of what may be wrong with a product, if anything.

didnt think to look on newegg, probably more knowledgeable people over there reviewing.
