Luxury towels

Background:
I used some Ralph Lauren towels at a hotel that were unbelievably soft and now I really want some. I looked them up when I got home and it looks like they are probably the ones that are $60 a pop. I'm making okay money now, but the slickdealer in me can't really justify that.

Research:
I felt up a bunch in stores but the only thing that was even close was these for $30 [bedbathandbeyond.com], and online reviews say they fall apart.

Question:
Does anyone know where I can get silky soft towels that hold up and stay soft for anything near a reasonable price? Hoping to keep it $30 or less. Thanks!

Alright, I ordered some Land's End Supima and Macy's Hotel Collection, which I found for $13-17. They seem quite good at this price, but definitely shy of the ones I liked.

I also found a sale on Ralph Lauren towels, and am wondering if the super soft ones were likely to have been Wescott or Bedford. If anyone has experience with one or both I would love to hear it.

Marshalls, Homegoods, or TJ Maxx near you? I have about 25 Ralph Lauren towels. I paid 6.99 each for brand new

I do have a TJ Maxx which I've checked. There may be a Marshalls in the area.

However, the ones you paid $7 for are probably the $17 dollar ones, not the $60 dollar ones, which I suspect are the ones I'm trying to replicate.

I have to admit I am a sucker for the Hotel Collection towels. We buy the bath sheets when they go on sale every once in a while for like $30 to 40 and use them for a couple years and then replace. Isn't cheap but mornings can suck so a little luxury can be worth it Smilie

Well I think I narrowed the Ralph Lauren down to Wescott or Langdon, probably Langdon.

In the end though the Hotel Collection MicroCotton went on sale for 11.03 and those were pretty darn good so I just ended up going with those.
