So no reason to buy an Xbox now? I think it's so ridiculous when people say that. I have a huge 4K television that I love to sit in front of on my comfortable couch with a $299 blu Ray and 4K video / up scaling game system. But you say I could buy a gaming pc. Sure. If I buy a gaming pc I don't wanna buy a slouch so I'd go with an i7. A pretty awesome i7 which I would buy is around $300. Wow. Still have a lot to buy still. Point is, you're comparison is way off and sounds fanboyish.

People have too much beef with Microsoft. Guess what whether you buy it PC or Xbox they're making money on both. At least they're giving you options. I prefer to game on my couch with a lot of my friends chatting comfortably on my huge television. I use to game on PC but it became too expensive. If you don't have a PC then it's a lot easier to pick up a console plug and play.
You said it yourself: "all Microsoft titles".

There are 3rd party developers, too, and they are not required (right now) to support Play Anywhere.

And, incidentally, Halo 5 is not on the list of Play Anywhere titles. This is a Halo 5 post. And it's a great deal for the limited edition.
Ya if you're a bachelor and don't have a wife. Lol.

So, there is no reason to buy and Xbox anymore, since all Microsoft titles will be concurrently released on PC (just announced over the weekend). Buy a gaming PC and a PS$ and you'll be set!

Except a gaming PC costs about 4x more than an Xbox so most people won't buy one. Plus the PC can have a lot more issues since they rely on the user not screwing everything up.

** I agree with your statement, but I don't think it's right for everyone

You can hook your PC up to your TV. It's even easier now than ever before since most gfx cards have HDMI out.

Depends on your preference of console (specifically concerning the controller). But the PC did just become a lot more attractive for those who own an X1.

Forza Horizon 3 + Sea of Thieves... can't wait! Big Grin

You can play PC games on your TV while sitting on your couch.

Yes I know you can plug it up to your tv but then you're just causing more clutter. That's if you even have a gaming PC to do it with. I would love to have another gaming PC but I'm not spending the $1000-$1200 which is what I would spend to get an awesome machine that would last a couple years when I can just buy a sub $300 machine and have it all work instantly. Plus all my friends are on Xbox.

Not seeing the Master Chief & Spartan Locke Commemorative Statues that I see in the Limited Edition sold by Best Buy. Are there different Limited Edition sets?

OK, I see it now. Best buy has the Limited Edition Collector's Edition that has the statues while this one is just the Limited Edition without the statues.

I'm an Xbox One fan. I game on it on an almost daily basis. However, a PC is a lot more capable. This was obvious even before the announcement, but now even more so than before (given you're an X1 owner).

You're acting as if you're pigeonholed into this concept that Xbox is the only platform that you can use party chat/play on a big screen TV. Yes, the Xbox is more convenient, but a little research and creativity will go a LONG way if you choose to migrate over to the PC.

With that said, yes, consoles are convenient. Some consumers prioritize that over everything else and that's OK. But I'm telling you from my own personal experience, if you're serious about gaming even remotely, migrate over to the PC. You can basically emulate everything on the Xbox (controller, party chat)... but everything will run smoother and look better! Stick Out Tongue
