Always hesitant about purchasing refurbed SSDs, especially considering the relatively small discount. Anyone have any other opinions?

I don't typically get refurb hard drives, SSD's, and display models of monitors, because it's hard to tell how hard used it was. However, the discount on the Intel 320 is a little better than it appears, because it is a write protected SSD, i.e. it has capacitors to prevent data corruption in the event of a power failure. I'm actually considering it, as 160GB is big enough to actually run an OS and some software on conveniently. Of course the downside is the especially with Intel you may be getting a refurb that has been used in a business, and that gets the equivalent of years of personal use in just one year for a commercial application. Intel is SATA-II.
If you really want a refurb check all the OCZ deals newegg has.

Not really the same thing. Headphones (at least the transducers) don't wear out.

Very much old stock on INTEL 320, rather spend money on Patriot Blaze $28 AR from Frys for new.
My Intel 330 180GB was running at my office windows since 2012 from 8:30AM-5:30PM weekdays.

From my knowledge Intel makes top end SSD but further research into this proves this isn't always true. From what I'm reading I'd stay away from this 320 series.
