I'd advise getting spare batteries these things are hard to put down after 10 min...

Spare batteries $1 (shipping is free if you by 6 or more)

Just a FYI, those cameras destroy battery life.

i have the branded version of this quad. it's pretty darn good for $30 and it really flies, i would say this is more an outdoor and indoor quad. it will fly so high you can barely see it, it will be just a dot. the lighting is ufo-like and it handles the wind pretty ok. btw, the camera is useless. this is nothing but fun and is ideal for the novice (not the newbie beginner).

it flies long time.
but it's less than 10 minutes.
when flying it feels like long time.
the key is to charge up a few batteries, i would say have about 6-10 ready for decent outing.

It's under the weight limit for registration, so no.

I don't have this particular model but I would ball park actual flight time at 6-7 mins with recording. A set of aftermarket batteries will make it irrelevant and probably extend your time by another 2 mins or so per battery.

Ships with Europe power supply, you will need one of those travel adapters to charge at home.

Damn, I got the copter but the batteries went off sale before I could check out. Guess I'll have to get by with one for the time being.
