Compared to what is in stock - and the fact that we are getting price gouged, this is not a bad deal. I would wait a few weeks for the price to come down - but if you have to have it... Here is a tracker to compare. https://www.nowinstock.net/comput...a/gtx1070/

I believe this model retails for $450. So it's unlikely you'll see it for $380. When supply does catch up with demand, the 1070 cards that will sell for $380 will likely be stock clocks.

sli 480gtx still rips through anything at 1440p , I'm still waiting for developers to take dx12 and latest apis seriously. waste of money until we stop getting ports and more pc only games

Someone posted this deal on Saturday.

You can also get an extra 1.5% off for a total price of $428 if you use your debit card.

that's was me. but seriously lol as many other posted in that thread, don't use debit. Use a credit card that has some sort of price protection. I am sure in 90 days we gonna see some price change to 1070, maybe not this particular model. But still that little saving ain't gonna do you much good plus most CC give u 1~2% cashback by default anyway, you only end up saving less than 5 bucks.

my card already shipped, so stock should be plenty.

Thanks, repped you and OP. Was going to jump on this but I was concerned about whether it would actually ship right away. Based on reviews over at Amazon, their orders are delayed until later this month.

I think this is a decent price considering it's better than the stock version and there is no tax which is a savings over nearly $30 for me. It's been over 3 years since my last video card purchase and hopefully this one will last me another 3 years. This is the most of I've ever spent on a video card by a good margin!

I was considering the 480 but I recently purchased a 144hz 1080p gaming monitor and I'd like to run most games at that frame rate at max or high settings for next few years if possible.

There are news that a 480 comes with 8gb of ram when buying a 4gb version but it is locked. Also it draws additional power from your motherboard's pci e slot.
