HDMI and VGA only, only a 1080p panel, and no VESA mount. For $100 this is OK I guess for something you'd only use rarely, but it is a very, very basic monitor. Display Port (and to a lesser extent DVI) are something most people are going to want for future proofing or flexibility. VESA mounts are becoming more and more popular as people want to reclaim desk space and get the monitors up off the desk. The daisy-chain Display Port capability that some monitors have now is really nice for future-proofing and less cabling.

You certainly could use this as a gaming monitor, it's nothing fancy but the consoles do support this resolution. The 5ms input lag isn't too bad, but you might enjoy gaming on a TV more. It's more of a matter of personal preference.

You do not know the lag... unless you looked it up on another site (and it's also, somehow 5ms). The response time list as 5ms, is a different number.
Lag usually refers to input lag. How long it takes data from the computer to show up on the screen. Bad input lag creates a delayed response in what you're seeing to what you're doing, especially in games.
Response time refers to how fast the pixels can change and display a new color. Poor response time results in blurring motion and less sharp images on the screen.
Finally, the listed response time isn't always what you really get as there's no set standard and different manf use different, and sometimes misleading data to set their specs.

I got this from Adorama, when it was advertised for the same price. I could make the display work for HDMI in. I got returned and got a replacement, which again had the same issue. Ended up returning both. Ended up getting a used acer monitor for less than half the price.

No VESA mount makes this a poor solution for multi-monitor setups.
