I was in the market for a saw and looking for some deal, I know this isn't best ever but for me it was the best available right now.
Sears has the saw on sale for 229, I called Lowes, price matched + 10 percent, their price ended up being 208 + tax, 223 for me out the door.
Lowes has a sign up that says that with the purchase of this saw you get a free Dewalt Miter stand to go with it, this had a regular price of 99 dollars. The miter saw stand deal is not listed on their website, so I do not know if that is regional or nation wide, thus YMMV. Good Luck, hope it is helpful.

In addition it appears Amazon has the saw listed for 199 now. - Now $229.99

Should still be able to price e match and get the stand.

I think that is where making the purchase over the phone, so they price match before they send the order through, then pick up the stand when you pick up the saw. They did not even flinch.

Surprised, why? how? It's a Dewalt, a bottom feeder when it comes to exacting saws. It'll be fine if you're just rough cutting railroad ties to length. But it's a total turd if you're a finish, trim or furniture carpenter like myself. Stick with a Kapex.

Because 99% of homeowners need a $1300 Festool. I've had the Kapex and prefer a 12" Bosch glider personally. That said those who can replicate this deal are getting a very good homeowner saw and an okay stand for $200+. Nothing to sneeze at and an excellent deal for the price.

Real carpenters use hand tools. Such as Paul Sellers.

Festool snobs are the worst. Comparing a $1,500 saw to a $200 one. This seems like a great deal and probably has more power and will last longer than a kapex. I own a kapex and burnt it out in a year, had to send to back for a total rebuild. This would be fine for homeowners, but I wouldn't use it in my cabinet shop.
