iBuyPower is offering their Signature edition Revolt R777 Gaming SFF, as part of clearance sale, with Core i7-6700K, ADATA XPG Z1 16GB DDR4 2800MHz, Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB, Asetek 550LC 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler, ASRock Z170M-ITX/AC 1x USB 3.1 Type-C, 802.11ac WiFi + BT v4.0, 500W FSP 1U 80 Plus Gold PSU, 2TB SATA III 7200 RPM HDD (64MB Cache), DVD-RW, iBuyPower Gaming Mouse, 3 year standard warranty (1 year parts, 3 years labor, 1 year return shipping coverage) @ $1137.65 with free ground shipping. Along with that, you will get $100 MIR, bringing down the effective price to $1037.65, not bad for an Unlocked Core i7 and GTX 1070. Buy a 480GB SSD at around $100 and you are having a super cool gaming system.

Just to clarify, Revolt is the Fang Battlebox equivalent of CyberPowerPC and dsigned like a tank. Check youtube Video and you will find that you can drop the whole PC from your Desk to ground without hampering any components.

It is one of the best PSU available in the market, in 500W range. Its far over than a complete garbage.

I haven't built computers since pre 2010, wasn't the PSUs back then 1000w+ for these higher end components?

Not even remotely close to the best on the market unless you are purely talking about 1U power supplies then it's pretty good.

Really?? Could you build one with similar configuration in similar price, not to mention then put them into a Mini-ITX form factor case.

Well, with time, more powerful components mean more power hungry components, concept is gone. The highest end single GPU Graphics card GTX 1080 does consume less than 200W Power now a days and 6700K is a 91W TDP processor and runs at 4GHz stock speed. The whole system will have below 350W Power consumption in most of the cases here.

You were talking about the power supply and not the entire build remember?

Sorry if I misunderstood you. But from your previous post, it looked like that you are saying the PSU is good but the deal is not even close to the best.

The deal is good but I noticed a small problem, the rebate ended last month.

Look for the "iBUYPOWER Revolt Gaming System (not including Revolt 2)" and you will see that it expired.

It is a mini-ITX PC for god sake, not a Full Tower PC with 8 HDD slots.

But in the product page itself, the $100 is clearly mentioned and there is high chance that they have not updated the sheet. You can check here also:
http://www.ibuypower.com/Site/Page/Clearance

However, probably all the people willing to buy this, are definitely gonna call the Customer care to get the clarification to make their decision.

It is 5 days outside the rebate period, not a chance they will accept the rebate unless you can convince support to give you a $100 discount instead.
