sooooo.......you get the discounted price on one speaker and the second speaker is full price? wtf, why post this? actually, limit one speaker per household, so you can only purchase one! ridiculous post.

Doesn't seem unreasonable to have a friend or family sign up for a code and buy the second for you. Seems like a good price although I'm fairly unfamiliar with these.

Thanks for the clarification. This goes on sale pretty frequently, so not really a big deal... you know... besides only being able to buy *one*.

Now if only they'd put the Reference II series on sale.

This isn't a bad deal, actually. It's the R-26F for $174, and when I went to pick two of them up (no issue using a single promo code on both speakers on the same receipt), the Renton, WA store was also paying the sales tax on these speakers, so $348 out the door for both. No complaints.

This makes the pair of Pioneer FS52's and the C2 center I got from NFM for $150 look like an even better deal in comparison.

Depends how you look at it. The R-26Fs are undoubtedly better speakers, but the price you got was good. The additional expense didn't bother me, so I'm enjoying great sound. Big Grin

Who says other than you that these are better? I've heard the 26f's and they are a bit on the harsh side and fatiguing at higher volumes. I would easily take the AJ speakers, even if prices were equal.Wink

R-26Fs are miles better than then AJs. But of course, that's just my opinion and I can't speak for others. The 26Fs are NOT fatiguing. The 28s, though...
