Page Plus Cellular is offering a brand new ZTE Valet with 4Gb microSD card for only $9.99https://www.pagepluscellular.com/...zte-valet/ or a refurb. LG Optimus Dynamic II https://www.pagepluscellular.com/...-(refurb)/for only $4.99. Both have one penny shipping options.

These are 3G phones and running older versions of Android, so I would mainly use them for talk and text. These could also be used as Perk or other money making app phones too. (You might be limited though due to version of OS)

The main benefit of getting this phone is Verizon towers. You will have coverage virtually everywhere, will not have to worry about latency (RingMinus and FreedomPoop) and they have virtually no outages. (I have used Verizon for over a decade and never had an outage). If you ever have to receive or make an occasional important call, this is phone service for you.

For as little as $30 a year ($10 refills last 120 days), using a CallingMart refill, you can a super reliable back-up phone service. For people who need more minutes, they have 2000 minutes for $80 and is good for 365 days. They also have a $12 a month plan for 250 text and minutes for light users. FYI, they now charge some extra fees with their refills (E911, etc), so I highly suggest using Callingmart or similar.

I have RingMinus and Freedompoop, but I will always keep my PP phone as a backup. An added bonus for PP is their customer service! I had a minor issue and their resolved it within 5 minutes! Their chat is active until 11:45PM Eastern time, so plenty of time to contact even working late at work.

Well I changed out RP and FP, let me guess, people are TD because I mentioned MicroSD? Get a life! What these TD people do not realize that this discourages other people from posting up on here. That ultimately means less exposure to good deals. Only TD if it is a crappy deal, not because your alert went off.

I didn't see these fones when I checked last week, I probably would have gotten the ZTE if I have known, still might. RE the TD people... TD people NEED to feel like special snowflakes, it's in their genes.

I do not think any of the cheap phones will work with Ringplus out of the box. You could put a Sprint reflash on there, but with all that effort I would just get a good used condition Sprint/Sprint MVNO phone.
