Interesting review of this device here: http://goo.gl/fJz758 Seems the processor comes in below most others though to be honest, getting a laptop for a fraction of what most smart phones cost is pretty amazing in spite of the meager performance.

In my opinion buying a chromebook with less than 4gb of ram is a total waste of money. At the end of the month the back to school sales will start and I am willing to bet you will be able to find a chromebook for this price or at most 100$ with 4gb. They were selling Toshiba Chromebook 2 refurbished with 4gb for 160$ about a month ago and I am confident prices will continue to drop.

I'll take that bet, if anything the 4GB will go up in price with support for Google Play apps. Have you had a 2GB? I got the cheap acer refurb long ago and surprised how fast it ran on such low specs. Granted it would be a challenge to run android games but for basic surfing it can't be beat. That's why I was relieved to see school systems adapt these instead of expensive apple products. If the budget is tight and you are a student or light user then go for it. I might if I hadn't already busted my budget this week on SD.

I have cheap refurb acer for $100 for more than a year that has 2 GB RAM and by far its most used device in my house.
