coverage is far more limited with the garmin

and now google maps is taking some info from waze. so some things are pulled from there now.

this is basically just a heads up projector that requires a phone and app to work. even if the app downloads the map data google maps can do that too for areas you're going to travel in

It appears you have to use Navigon or Garmin's app, which are 50 and 60 dollars respectively for the cheapest IOS versions at least?
