The reviews are not for this computer, it is for a different version (DH72). This mode is CH71 and the newegg review page is:-

I use to be an asus repair tech, we would resell old units we fixed,or fix customer units. I was hired through a temporary agency. My quality of work was good, and I was considered one of the better techs, but they used returned parts that 'tested' good. Many units get temp rigged where a cord may have a short, if a tech can get it to work at that time, they'll push it through. The final test is just a program that runs a few checks, often times technicians would forget screws that they took out while repairing a unit, and no one will ever know, if it looks good externally it passes. I saw many units which were units sent back in from a customer after it had been sent back to them saying it had been fixed. I was the only tech I was aware of that was a+ certified. I think my top out hourly wage was 11 dollars a hour. So their QA process isn't extensive at all and the quality of work output on units is not what you think it would be. I didn't work there long, but if you send a unit to be fixed, do yourself a favor... REMOVE YOUR HARDDRIVE, if any personal media is present when your unit is being worked on it probably is going to be archived on an 'awesome finds' type drive a tech has. I worked on g73(a stealth bomber laptop design model) I may be wrong on the unit model. They had overheating issues. My job was to apply thermal paste and run 3dmark for 10 minutes and pass. So refurb beware

I have a Asus gl551 and have been suffering from an issue where adobe programs causes Bsod when charge cable isn't connected. By any chance, anyone know of the solution? I've tried Google and all recommendations with no success. Updated driver, changed battery power options, etc. Asus says it's an issue wither with Windows 10 or Adobe.

In for one. Hopefully the one I get isn't a lemon. Was eyeing the Dell 7559, but this thing is a beast.
