Hey guys, I was looking for a larger MicroSD card and I came across this amazing deal. Too bad I don't have a Newegg Business account.

Will most devices even support this size card?

Good price if you're after capacity, but these Ultra cards are VERY slow on the writes. Don't expect to see more than 12-13MB/s on average.

Well not many phones that were on the market prior to 2016 ( most support up to 128) even the low end phones of 2016 don't support over 128, however I see this mostly benefiting those people who have high end tablets. 200 extra gigs (180-190 after formatting) in a Microsoft surface pro 3 or 4 that has the built in 64 or 128 memory option, this is a well sought after upgrade.

No idea how they're getting that high of a write speed. Must be a function of the test file(s) that they're using. For comparison purposes looking at other typical benchmark tests using CrystalDiskMark, etc., it will be in the 15-ish range. I have one that I use in my Surface Pro. It's OK for file storage but not a real fast card.

I don't think there is any technical limitation for cellphones to support large sd cards, as long as they are properly formatted. Larger than 2TB may be a different story.

Great for surveillance/monitoring use but I doubt many of those cameras (be it IP, decoy, wildlife, etc) support microSDXC let alone 200GB cards.
