I'm a big fan of Hublot, have several friends who own them. Here's some questions about this piece. Why doesn't it have the signature "H" screws that Hublot is so well known for? Also, the screws aren't lined up (generally associated with poor craftsmanship - ignoring final touches) which is another potential red flag from, what I understand. Anyone know why this model would be different?

Edit: Screw alignment does not equal poor craftsmanship. This is verified by visiting Hublot's official website. And, as for lack of signature "H" screws, it's due to this being an old model apparently.

I think you might be confusing Hermes and Hublot.

Def. not mistaking those two Smilie Hublot is well known for their H screws. Additionally, any sense of lack of craftsmanship is a red flag in general for time pieces. Unless I got two very good answers for those questions I would not feel comfortable purchasing this particular time piece.

Interesting I never noticed the H screws before. My guess is it's an older model. (It's selling on Tourneau preowned for $6500

Found some up close pictures, it's not bad looks and for $4500 for an auto H is a steal

I hear what your saying on the screw issue though. If I would bite I'd likely switch them out Smilie

Not a very good price. The classic Super B sells used for less than 2k when they pop up. The more rare Black Magic Flyback model (500 piece limited edition) is worth more and can be had for around 3.5k used. The Super B is a very undesired model and was discontinued several years ago (2009 I think).

If it's not a Big Bang, it isn't worth considering.

The Super B wasn't designed by Biver and doesn't have the H screws. Also the screws on the Big Bang or any Hublot never align. The only watch that will have screws aligning is the the AP Royal Oak that are screwed from the rear. I have no idea what 'red flags' you speak of, but it sounds like a personal lack of knowledge. This watch (and all watches) from Jomashop are 100% authentic. They are a well known grey market dealer.

Never was questioning Joma, just this particular model. I did additional research and modified my original post. You're correct, screw alignment is a non-issue here.
