Thread Details

This bulb retails for $30 as it is tunable and not the regular $15. On a different page within Amazon, the same bulb sells for $29.78. WeMo and SmartThings compatible among others.

I believe the best use for this bulb is on a nightstand as you can tune the color temperature for reading.

Enjoy.

Also, should mention as there was some confusion with the last deal on these bulbs that were YMMV:

I tune the temperature and brightness on these bulbs directly through SmartThings app.

Yeah, I went by mine the day of the YMMV deal, and there were none in sight.

I JUST picked up six (6) of the tunable white Osram Lightify's for $23. Not bad for less than a single retail price of one. Plus the eBay lot had other bulbs mixed in for free. Not a bad pallet return lot I bought on eBay. I've also been about to get about 60 total of the GELink and TCP connecteds that were in both Home Depot and Lowe's for the past two years. I scooped up about 60x a19, br30s, par38s sizes. Both the GE Link and TCP Connected brand bulbs feel heavy and quality made. ((Not like Cree's smart bulb which is completely different method they tried versus anyone else I've seen thus far even in Zwave, Zigbee, BTLE, WiFi, Insteon, etc. ))
Anyway, snagged 60 bulbs for about $148 total after combined shipping savings and eBay promotions.

That's just over $2 a bulb for the entire home. Fantastic if even half of the 22 year LED life is honored. Especially if I can get them replaced in the future.

All were brand new in box. Most boxes were in store returns/exchanges/ or overstock clearance pulls. Some people do this for a living and buy pallets from Home Depot and Lowe's for pennies on be dollar. I could start this, imagine how bright my house would be. I'll probably overload my main automation controller. I might have to design this out to leave bandwidth available for networks. At least all my stuff is random interchangeable technologies(as said above), so my single wave radio doesn't have to simultaneously mesh cast to 160 devices. That would suck!!!
