They say a free issue for all their mags. I signed up about 10-15 years ago for a free issue of Car and Driver and have been getting it for free since... I just have to confirm the changes, once a year.

Never mind the lack of nudity. The new format has turned this once iconic magazine into what may be the worst magazine of all-time. All of the great features of the Old Playboy (besides the boobies) - the jokes, the in-depth political articles, the REAL Playboy Advisor - all gone. The new photography is horrible, the new design is horrible, the new style of writing is horrible... it's like they gave a socially-stunted hipster wannabe 14-year-old a partially working Kodak Disc camera and said, "Here, you're responsible for redesigning this magazine."

Words can't describe how awful the "new" Playboy is. It is literally a rag. Scratch that... At least I can clean my windows with rags. Awful beyond all comprehension. Not even worth it if someone paid you to take it.

Now excuse me while I dig out my Pamela Anderson back issues...

I'll admit I have not "read" Playboy since I discovered the internet in 1996 (plus I was not old enough to buy one, but back then any 15 year old could dial up and download pics).

Anyway, are you saying that current playboy is no different than Cosmopolitan and the O?

That is sad, but then again, Hugh Heffner is mooching off the new home owner of his playboy mansion...
