Does anyone know if the price for the 96ct Gallon Hefty Slider Freezer Bags good? Costco doesn't carry the Freezer version, just the Storage version (at least at my local Costco) or the non-slider version.

I see the non-slider on Costco web site. Price is slightly lower at costco. Is slider supposed to be better/more expensive?

I had a $4.99 coupon apply to the Stacy's Pita Chips because of my previous sample box purchase. It made them $6.50. Thanks and repped.

a lot of these prices are well above what you would pay at dollartree for similar products.. they may be name brand but not worth the cost unless you can't easily get to a store...

which reminds me..
would everyone please start hammering on your local grocer to deliver food to homes.. there are millions of people out there.. disabled, exmilitary, elderly and just people that might not be able to get to the store like they just came out of the hospital from an operation...

It is very important to me as it effects my family directly...

If every pizza place can deliver a $10 pizza then a supermarket should be able to deliver a $100-200 order of items like fresh vegetables and fruit, meat and dairy...

You can not get these things delivered if you are disabled, sick or elderly and can not get out.. maybe because of snow and ice in the winter or just any time if you are unable physically.

AND there are no services either Medicare, Medicaid or Insurance .. or Senior Care Centers that will simply deliver an order of fresh food to your home.. they don't do that.. they will come to your home and cook your food but won't shop for it..

no one does and since we are an aging population this is going to get bad fast.. what else can you do? have meals on wheels deliver you food that they cook every day? from garbage that restaurants donate or discarded food from grocery stores right at the shelf life expiration date? or maybe we should have to order takeout 3 times a day? you can not live off of that you need fresh food and other things you just can not get by mail unless they are insanely expensive like this stuff.. who orders water by mail?

Maybe UBER could deliver but that would only help people in cities.. if you are in the city you can maybe get to a store.. if you are rural or suburban you can not walk a mile or more to a store ..

there should be no reason a supermarket can't hire 1 person or maybe 2 and use a van to deliver prepaid orders and not have their people collect cash at the door.. and if its prepaid you know they aren't getting scammed .. and deliver during daylight hours.. seems pretty dam easy.. seems safe .. seems profitable..

please people .. this is our future and we need to prepare for it.. not everyone will have family or neighbors they can count on all the time to do this.. if we don't want to end up in assisted care we need to prepare...

The reason I am posting this is because I care for someone now.. but when its my turn .. it don't look good.. things are changing fast.. and the difference between a bag of grapes at the supermarket vs some high dollar gift box $45 for 6 pears or something .. its insane..

It could just be my preference but I find that the slider keeps better seal than the zip and is definitely easier to get air out.

Agreed. This is cheaper than many prior S&S FP deals of the past on these chips. One note: expiration dates are usually short (6-8 weeks), so this is best for those with families or people who pack their lunch daily.

They do have services like that depending on your area, but not through the store. Issue with grocery store is paying the employees to pick out products for your list, time to deliver, cost of vehicle, gas, insurance, etc. I think most would not want to pay the extra for it to be profitable.

Zippy, I''m guessing you don't have something like Peapod in your area. You are right about many supermarkets not delivering food. Truth is many people in this country don't have easy access to supermarkets or being able to get their food delivered at a reasonable price. This applies to many people who are poor, old or disabled. Good luck.

Done. Publix and Harris Teeter started this in Atlanta area. I'm disabled and it's an important service as stated my only gripe is the price hikes and minimum order requirement.
