Great price at $299 FS with no tax outside of NY. Good way to use your eBay bucks this month.

Really like the watch, but I can't justify buying it atm. Is there a price history of this thing? How good a deal is $300?

Paid $313 for this watch about two years ago. It has been great. The only tricky part was taking the links out due to how hard it was to remove the pins. I took it to a jeweler who also struggled, but got the job done. The band shows some wear, but the watches face is like the day I purchased it.

It's $375 at Amazon currently, which is cheaper than usual. This watch is often in the >$400 and even $500 range at Amazon. Of course, Amazon is a more reputable seller with easier returns. The eBay seller is somehow affiliated with Jomashop, which I believe is also who would hold your warranty as opposed to Citizen. Not that you should expect any issues with this watch, but just in case you're big on having peace of mind.

If you check slickdeals deal history, this watch hit $300 a few times within the past couple years. In March and July of 2015, it hit $300 and both times went front page.

Probably better if you read a full review on the watch, but I really like the perpetual calendar and eco-drive combination. This watch is truly a set it and forget it piece. Most of my own watches are automatics, this is the only quartz movement in my regular rotation, but the fact that it syncs to the atomic clock at 3 AM (?) every day makes it extremely accurate.

This is personal preference, but I'm also a big fan of the way the dial looks. It's symmetric without trying to be perfect. The inner dials are all useful to me as well (besides of course the 6 o'clock dial). The detail in the dial is also very good at this price point. I also like the blue accents as opposed to the red accents on the SS version. The band looks nice IMO and is comfortable to wear. The whole watch is light and not noticeable when worn thanks largely to the Ti construction. Others don't like that, however, and prefer heftier stainless steel.

The two things I dislike the most about the watch: 1) The band does not have solid end links. It still fits snug but would have preferred SEL at this price point and 2) the outer bezel is plastic and looks cheap compared to the rest of the watch.

For $300, the small faults are greatly overshadowed by all the other positives.

Bought this watch about 2 years ago from an Amazon sale. Really LOVE this watch especially being atomic with a titanium band.

Great deal! I've had mine for over a year and it's been great so far. Hopefully the battery lasts the advertised 20 years.

It's actually not very hard if you have one of those $10 watch repair kits. I've changed several Citizen bands with my kit and it only takes about 20 minutes.

I probably have a similar kit, maybe it was something up with my watch in particular since my previous citizen was super easy to adjust.

There was one incident where I mistakenly used the pin remover on the wrong end and that was a struggle, so not sure if that was your same experience.
