MSRP of this one is $429. The absolute cheapest 1070 is $399. So you got a high end 1070 for a rock bottom price. And I did too woot

You get an additional discount from Jet if you use a debit card so you got an even better deal Smilie

Reference 1070 from Nvidia has an MSRP of $380. Board partner cards from Asus, MSI, Gigabyte typically have added features like lighting, better cooling, and OC from the factory so they tend to be a little more expensive.

Damn good deal, 980ti level performance for almost $300 less than this GPU tier was available for 2 months back. I'd be in for one if I wasn't holding out for 1080ti

Beat me to it.

Also, your OP is for an Asus card but the attached thumbnail is for a Gigabyte card.

Based on the pics on the site, looks like this has a backplate too, nice. Man this is tempting, but I'm debating holding off for the 1080Ti in early '17.

Before I say something, I have done no prior testing or seen and testing done with these cards in this scenario. However, I would say most of the time it is better and more efficient to get the 1 rather than the 2.
