I was at my local Walmart (Cumming, GA) today and saw the large black Fitbit Charge for $30. It was marked as Clearance.
I have a picture, but can't figure out to upload one using the phone. Will upload it once I am at a computer

Here's the link: http://www.walmart.com/ip/FitBit-...l/39877713 (the link is for reference only. The deal is in store)

Also, uploaded a picture

Warning: Scathing review ahead...

After owning (and wearing right now) a Fitbit Surge, I can safely say I will never buy another of their products again unless they open their platform. Why? Because it's total BS that they won't participate in a more free and open manner with app services such as Apple Health or Google Fit.

Sure, there are third party sync tools but they all have their issues and are still limited in functionality courtesy of Fitbit's Stalin-esque grip on their restrictive API.

They are nothing more than a premium brand manufacturing overpriced hardware that locks you into their platform and demands a premium via subscription service for additional 'insight' into your personal data (basically meaningless dashboards) that they then ransom to you all while profiting from your data and others via third party agreements.

That being said, maybe a good deal if you'd like to pickup at this price for resale on eBay though I'd personally be conflicted with knowing that I'm selling someone this type of garbage.

You make an excellent point! They will eventually premium themselves out of the market.

1 or less...this is very dicey. I had always had no luck when it says so. I think it is a problem with their inventory system.

Why item number 39877713 doesn't show up anything in Walmart.com?
