& Loaner Phones
FLASH: Saturday, July 9 @ 1pm until Sunday, July 10, 2016 @ 10 pm Pacific
Member+ Re-Opening Times: Monday July 11 @ 6pm Pacific for 48h
Let’s call it what it is…
A good cheap paid cell plan for $3.99/mo* with:
1,000 minutes, 1,000 texts, and 1GB of full-speed LTE data! You’ll also have the possibility to add a zero dollar ($0) Add On of data (throttled at 128k) daily. If you don’t need full-speed LTE data on any given day or if you run out of your full speed data, you can choose this Add On at any time.
We don’t call this cell plan with 1GB LTE full speed and available throttled 128k LTE an unlimited plan. We don’t charge extra like Verizon and other carriers. And we clearly state when the data is throttled, unlike T-Mobile and other carriers. We don’t charge hidden fees!
But we do charge less than others…
Nakamura 1 $3.99/Month (with an auto Top Up of $5.00 *)
Nakamura 2 $3.99/Month (no auto Top Up)
Both plans include:
- 1,000 minutes each 30 days
- 1,000 texts each 30 days
- 1GB LTE full-speed data each 30 days
New! A Free Daily Add On available for both plans :
$0/day unlimited data throttled at 128k (must be renewed manually from your dashboard).
Paid Add Ons available for both Plans:
$15.99* for 1GB of full-speed LTE data (unused portions of the data Add On expire after 6 months).
If you are on Nakamura 1, you can continue using your phone without interruption; we will bill your account an additional $5.00* as soon it hits zero.
If you are on Nakamura 2, you will have to Top Up manually if you want to use overages. You can also buy Add Ons for talk, text, MMS or data (full-speed LTE)*.
Overage rates are 5 cents for each unit of talk, text, MMS, and data (full-speed LTE)*.
*Applicable telecom taxes and fees will be applied to all charges made to your credit card on file.
During this promo, RingPlus is offering the following loaner phone to use with this plan!
Kyocera C6725 Hydro Vibe (New): $60.00

poor merchant reputation: MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A CALL IN LESS THAN EVERY 60 DAYS, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DOWNGRADED TO FREE PLAN (125min/50text/25MB) WITH NO NOTICE. THIS WAS STARTED SINCE 07/11/2016.
Bring Your Own Device BYOSD
You check if your phone is eligible in the RingPlus Check Tool at https://my.ringplus.net/device_va...que
Porting and eligible phone chart https://social.ringplus
If you have a top up balance >$0, you do NOT have to top up again until your balance falls to $0.
Swap outs and cancellations have usually been allowing immediate new lines: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=
....Starting new lines immediately from canceled phones may not always work, use placeholder workaround for immediate activation if you run into that issue.
....If you get billing cycle delay, it means until the renewal date on your plan, not a fixed 30 days. Placeholder + swap is quick fix.
....See more on cancellations at bottom of wiki.
No upgrades - New lines only, except for Truly Free 2/3 during the flash or the $35 classified method
.....Downgrades to TF3 are no longer allowed.
M+ is not required during the flash
FED - Many reports are that R+ prepaid phones that have been deactivated are passing FED checks! One iPhone 6s failed FED check May 6. There is no guarantee.
BYOD Your Own Phone - Test Eligibility here: https://ringplus.net/#byosd
Port in is NOT required.
Separate accounts are typically recommended for multiple lines - not locking into a single email address
Please refer to this Extensive Wiki which can answer many questions you have about R+ or getting starting, Including Credit Card, Gateway Rejected: AVS / Fraud errors / CSA:
If you are completely new to R+, have a look at :https://social.ringplus
FED - PLEASE READ ... Important Activation Notice Regarding Prepaid Phones referred to as FED = Financial Eligibility Date https://social.ringplus
As of April 17, 2016, per our carrier partner Sprint, Members and potential Members will no longer be able to activate prepaid devices which are not eligible under Sprint's FED policies (explained below). Such prepaid devices will no longer pass FED until actual eligibility date is met. This is not a new Sprint policy. It is merely a system update to the Sprint system to comply with Sprint's existing FED policies, and to close the gap in the system that allowed such devices to pass FED and be activated on carriers other than those that originally sold the device ("originating carrier").
FED - As of 4/17, in order to activate a Sprint/Boot/Virgin prepaid phone with RingPlus, the phone must have been active with its original carrier for 12 months.
Already activated phones are not affected because they will not trigger an FED check
But if you deactivate a phone, you will trigger an FED check when you (re)activate the phone.
You will no longer be able to activate a new-in-box Sprint/Boost/Virgin prepaid phone (e.g., from Best Buy) with RingPlus.
Upgrading a line to a different plan is NOT an activation, but swapping to an inactive phone will mean an FED check
To date, all R+ phones which have been deactivated are passing the FED check, although this is not guaranteed by policy
Roaming included with M+, Roaming for non-M+ $50+tax
Per minute / per MB charges still apply.
FreedomPop phones purchased post FED (04/16/16) must be on FP for a minimum of 6 months before FP will release the ESN.
If you cancel your current line with R+ then you will lose the remaining top-up balance for that line, your phone number, and the phone from the canceled line. Also, in some cases, you will not be able to register a new free line using the phone from the canceled line until the end of the billing cycle (<1 day up to 30 days max), although you can use a placeholder for new registrations and swap in the canceled phone for $1.99 as an easy workaround if that happens. To this point, all deactivated R+ phones have been able to reactivate new R+ plans despite FED policy, although the billing cycle may come into play on occasion. Update: On May 6, someone reported that they deactivated a iPhone 6s from R+, and it would not reactivate. A BYOD check gave the message that it failed FED. This is the only report of a R+ activated phone getting deactivated and then not meeting FED.
