makes me wonder how reliable brickseek even is. I've had 2+ available on BS and absolutely none in store.

I was honestly pretty sure they will have at least one of those tvs in stock it was 40" Hisense smart tv for 69 bucks i was already thinking about if its going to fit in my car but guy said there is none, he went in back to check. Every time i go for these ymmv deals there is never any when brickseek shows them in stock.

This has been at this price for quite some time. I checked brickseek and it showed 1 or less in stock near me. Went there to find they did have LG sound bar but not same model. And as usual Walmart service people were subpar. When I told that it does show in stock at this location they said the Walmart app cannot be trusted :l meh. These ymmv Walmart deals are sucky.

Yea i get the frustration this is why if there is deal in walmart next to me i go check it out but i wouldn't drive across town for any of these ymmv deals as u said walmart employees are subpar and can't trust brickseek or their own walmart app for stock inventory. I had some luck in just checking the clearance section of walmart in electronics department i found all in one touchscreen computer for 100, nice router and now this sound bar and had no luck of any ymmv deals posted on here.

Had the same issue today on a TV I wanted. BS said in stock and even the Walmart employee's device showed in stock. But they couldn't find it in the back. This was at 2 different stores. So makes me wonder why Walmart's inventory count is off on high price items like TVs. Anyone can shine in?

Only thing i can think of is maybe they store them in back and leave a note like save this for this employee blah blah blah i remember when i worked at JC penney at warehouse i saw this many times where employees would save items in back and leave notes on them not to be sold till they get paid, manager didn't care much.

You had a good run Smilie not only this particular sound bar, they had a few others too (Samsung, Vizio) at ridiculous prices. None of those were actually present in store or the employees reserved them for themselves. I was in the market for sound bar and after a lot of frustration wasting time on these Walmart deals I got myself the monoprice 2.1 for $40 finally. I guess it won't hold a candle to the one here but suffices me. I have a small living room.

I have a strong doubt the employees immediately keep the items for themselves as soon as the news comes up about such ymmv deals. Same happened with me on multiple counts. The employees said Walmart app cannot be trusted. Well done.

So you're saying they could be hiding if for themselves? I'll find out by tonight if it's still in show in stock or not. Soon as that employees get off shift.

I'm thinking the numbers may also be off due to theft. I'm in Walmarts frequently and see people getting arrested all of the time. Those are just the ones they caught.
