The PT-H100 is just $8 more with the coupon and I think that it uses laminated tape. This model says it only uses regular tape labels.

edit- Damn the PT-H100 uses 6AA batteries though. Gamegear flashbacks up in this joint.
Still Id rather have laminated labels.

I've had a problem with this brand and it's labels. They always seem to separate out and then you have to buy new tape.

That's showing up as $35.39 for me. Frown $9.93 is a smoking deal.

Always wanted a label maker but was worried about the labels leaving sticky residue if removed?

I second going with laminated tape machines. The M tapes are horrible. Fragile and fades rather quickly if you are using in a high temp environment.
The laminated ones are great for all weather.

The original brother labels do not leave sticky residue if removed.
I use them in the office and at home, love them, but brother machines tend to waste tape with their way of printing & dispensing.

Had one of these and it has a hard time printing more than a few labels before it runs down the batteries, even high capacity rechargeables. I got a $20 dymo and haven't bothered with this one since.

Do they make rechargeable label makers? I have to sacrifice 6 AAA's for mine. Kinda ridiculous.
