I saw an ice scraper on FP. My 20+ year old scraper broke last winter. I needed the FP deal! Dead! I searched amazon and found this: wider blade an cheaper, but probably not as heavy duty. Still 67% off and well below 20+ dollars for comparable products. 8.65 plus free shipping with prime.

I am in for two.

The new model is supposed to come out with bluetooth so you can take a selfie of yourself and post on social media while dealing with the snow. Just saying.

The blade looks good, but appears to be connected via resin/plastic. That = failure upon use. especially since plastic becomes brittle at colder temperatures. Even if used for other purposes with warmer weather the plastic connection is not advisable.

Just received this. WOW....it is heavy. Feels pretty heavy duty. The blade is solid and tough, and the plastic holding it is VERY hard. Can't imagine it breaking for a long time.
