Back again.... This was a Front Page deal at this price about 2 weeks ago. Only drawback is no wide widths appear available in this deal.

Joe's New Balance Outlet has the New Balance M1980BG Men's Running Shoe for $40 as their Deal of the Day. This was Competitor.com's 2015 shoe of the year. Great deal on a great shoe.

Dollar shipping available with DOLLARSHIP coupon code. Tax applies for my location, bringing total around $44.

Price comparison... For my size in this color on Amazon, it is showing as $70.

Please go to a running shop and determine what shoes are for you. Don't do what I did and run hundreds of miles in the wrong shoes. Night and day, and fixes your posture/gait. Worth spending $100 on your first pair just for that service.
As fresh as your jokes.

is foam from 1980 still fresh?

I am looking for wide size, but this one doesn't have the wide to choose from.

Not sure how relevant this is but I've been running on a pair of boracays for about 6 months now but I'm a little bit disappointed. The shoe fits fine but the shoe is extremely generic to me. The cushioning feels mediocre, its not esp supportive or lightweight. Maybe I bought in too much to the hype. For 40 bucks, its probably more worth it for a half decent running shoe. I usually put about 10 miles on them a week, I run neutral but I'm a pretty big dude (6'2, 205).

I like these shoes. I am a fairly big guy, 6'3" tall and 215 pounds. I wear a size 14. They provide a great deal of padding and support. They fit your foot like a glove sort of, which I also like. I run (fairly slow pace) and fast walk 20 miles plus a week and they work fantastically.
I accidentally ordered two pairs last time by mistake and once I tried them out, I decided not to return the other pair and just keep it. I may order a third pair at this price.

Yes. These are pretty neutral, so they may not be great if your stride is not neutral. I agree that the best thing to do is to be evaluated by an expert, but I chose not to do that and these work great for me.

How can you even wear anything with a FLAT SOLE and enjoy it and not have health problems?

Some people run without shoes, so perhaps it is a matter of preference.

Having said that, these shoes have a drop of 6mm, so they are not flat.... As a comparison, I am lacing up my 890's for a run right now, and they have a drop of 8mm.
