Thread Details

I just found the most amazing deal on the Verizon Smart Reward web site. For only 2,000 points you can get a $20 Uber gift card for first time users of Uber. The only thing that would make this even a better deal is if Uber didn't already offer a ride free for first time Uber riders. I am a little offended that Verizon thinks we, as customers, have such little intelligence. This makes me wonder what else Verizon does thinking we will never notice because we are dumb? Perhaps AT&T values their customers intelligence? There is only one way to find out...........
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Ok, maybe this was a little harsh, but considering that I pay over $400 a month for our Verizon bill, some sort of true "reward" would be nice.

It's been widely posted here on Slickdeals that Verizon's rewards program is one of the most useless in existence - about the only thing of "value" I've gotten from them is every now and again they offer Verizon gift cards that can be used to pay your bill. These are few and far between and rather hard to get before they "sell out", but worth the effort.

I used to agree this rewards program is useless, but some weeks ago, I was looking for a pair of oakleys, and the model I wanted was cheaper in Verizon Merchandise Store. I was also looking for Lacoste Pique TShirts, where Verizon has the lowest prices (52.50). You may not agreed with the price on Lacoste or Oakley, but at the end, I was looking into buying that stuff anyways, and the lowest price was in Verizon.

If you've been able to make good use of it, that's awesome. Unfortunately I think you're in the minority in that regard.
