If you trust what's listed on the product page..."Its soft, split-tip bristles are clear coat safe, so they clean without scratching."

It's not so much the bristles on a brush that will scratch a car. It's the dirt and debris picked up by the brush and ground along the paint. So yes. You will get scratches using ANY brush.

The key is to blast as much as possible off car with hose, Use a good quality soap, Use a 2 bucket system to wash with and train yourself to wash top down and the last part of the car which is where the most dirt is normally you want to do small areas and rinse brush. Doing this will go a long way in keeping your paint in good condition.

Also as a owner of this brush for years. The most annoying thing about this brush is the pole glue joint failed very shortly after buying so where the pole and plastic union connect for the telescopic part to tighten and loosen it just spins. Ive super glued it a few times and that works for a little while but nothing long term. otherwise been a good brush for my truck.

If you love your car, don't use this. Get a wool mitt. But a great deal for $6 not going to knock that.

Chemical Guys microfiber mitt all the way + 2 bucket system as other mentioned. I've always had a ton more swirl marks with brushes like this.

this is a good brush. I've owned one for over 6 years and haven't had any problems with it and no scratched paint
