It came up expired at 8:00 CST for me.

I called Amazon 5 times and FINALLY the 5th rep was able to explain that it wasn't Amazon that ended the promo early, it was Chase. She read me the email alert that came down from Amazon stating that Chase was ending the promo early but gave no reason as to why. She said the time on the email alert was 10:33 a.m.. I have no idea what time zone though.

She gave me a phone number for Chase/Amazon promotions department and encouraged me to call and complain.

How in the heck can they pull that?

I'm getting my $150+ cart together and then I go back and the coupon is gone; try to add it again and the promotion is over--at an arbitrary time that's only about halfway through the stated validity period?

Eff-u Amazon. I'm reducing my order now.

I spoke with a CSR and it took them a while to actually get to the bottom of it. Quote below

Let me just check on the update on that promotion
Oh NikoN8718, please don't kill me but I come bearing not so good news: the promotion has just ended. I know it says it's valid until 23:59, but the powers that be have decided to end it. So sorry

YMMV. I just went through two chats, 1 phone call and requested a supervisor. They are apparently making no exceptions for those that didn't get the deal.

How ridiculous.

01:29 PM PDT Roxanne: The VISA30 promo has expired
Even though the details show this promotion is valid until July 12th 11:50 pm, please notice the terms and conditions indicate “Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time”
01:29 PM PDT Max Watson: It was in my cart... I don't understand how it could be removed like that. How can the promotion be terminated half way through the day? That's bad business. I don't think I'll be placing my order.
01:31 PM PDT Roxanne: I completely understand the frustration however it has expired I wish I could have restated however there is nothing that can be done.
