With all the Amazon threads lately, I cannot seem to find a discussion thread about this. There's used to be an option where you could get Prime for one month only at $10.99... where is that? I'm guessing the Prime Day deals would still qualify.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I'm fairly certain the only option is to sign up for the 30 day trial (which they have been advertising you should do before Prime day for the past 2 weeks so that you could get Prime Day deals) and/or pay the full year price.
However, satisfaction with Amazon Prime is guaranteed, and if you want to cancel anytime during the 12 months, they will be happy to offer a pro-rated refund. So if you sign up, use it for a month and then do a live chat to cancel, they will refund 11 months worth of the cost.

If you choose to be charged on a monthly basis, your membership charge will be $10.99. If you choose to be charged on an annual basis, you will be charged $99. Prime Video membership is $8.99 a month.
