Why would only the 64gb version be on sale?!? 32gb is more than enough but it's the same price as the 64? That makes no sense. Good find though.

Thanks Op,
Nice find, I was waiting to see if there were any deals on the 32gb today but since this is the same price as 32gb I pulled the trigger.

To each his own, but why would anyone buy this over a Nvidia Shield? And this is coming from someone who owns the previous generation Apple TV and preordered this latest back in October only to return it when I better educated myself....just saying.

You can hack (sideload) Kodi onto ATV4, but the average 'I just want it to work out of the box' user probably wouldn't be willing to make the effort.
Alternatively, you can use MrMC (a fork of Kodi that was 'redacted and purified' so that it would be accepted into the App Store), but honestly that's a terrible option.

If you insist on the ATV4 and you're not a diehard Kodi fanboy/girl, you should really be using Infuse instead of Kodi. Alternatively, VLC is also available on the App Store, but Infuse is far more popular for a good reason (beyond its smooth Apple-like tvOS GUI).

I actually sideloaded KODI onto ATV4 and works but a few days later for some odd reason the app just would not open. Click on it and nothing happens. Same goes for ALL my ios devices on latest ios's. Any clues?

Because you can't access iTunes content. Some people have lots of media in their iTunes account.
