You should never dishwash cutting knives. Steak/Butter, sure, but never cutting ones.

I have had this style of knife before, and my experience, in general, has been good. The handles are comfortable and the knives of OK quality. The stainless or knives coated in the non-titanium, though, have rusted on me after a few months of dishwasher cleanings. They do not rust on the blade, but under the handle. In my case, the rust showed through, and made them look unappealing.

I bought a titanium set, though, and I was sold. They are sharper and hold their edge much better, and I have used them for months and sent them through the dishwasher constantly, and they have not shown any sign of wear or rust.

I do not not own these specific knives, but the one I had before the titanium brand was also nearly five star rated.

We have tons of expensive knives, and our Titanium set has become a constant go to because it is easy to clean and always sharp. And they do not cost much more than even this price.

I have the bright version of this and hands down one of the sharpest set we have bought. It is still going strong after a year of daily use.

I'm not sure youve experienced a knife that is actually sharp.
