Amazon Prime Members ONLY Lightning Deal

Fire HD 10 Tablet, 10.1" HD Display, Wi-Fi, 64 GB - Includes Special Offers $209.99

You can also apply VISA30 and use your Amazon Rewards Visa Card to pay for the ENTIRE purchase (doesn't seem to like applying points even...) to get an additional $30 off for $179.99 plus tax (where applicable). YMMV

The 16GB version is $150 on Prime Day. I just ordered it. How did this not make it to FP?
$150 for 10" tablet with Dolby Atmos speakers and SD slot to load apps? How could this not be a deal.
Plus you get $6 back on Pantry plus $8.15 cash back if you use Amazon store card.

Is it the lower resolution turning people off? Is there performance issues with this model? I have the 7" one and it works smooth as a butter, but my son wants larger screen, so I am getting this 10" as upgrade.

Because the price does still is high for is being offered spec-wise(e.g. the resolution).

Is there a similar tablet for similar or better price ($150 version)? I can't find any 10" tablet under $250 anywhere. Maybe I missed something?
I chose no rush so I can still change my mind. Smilie

Thanks.

I honestly wouldn't get this tablet. Did a quick search and this thing has only a gig of ram(i hope that's not true). Amazon seems to have cut some corners with this generation of fire tablets. I would say the Lenovo Tab 2 A10 but it seems like Lenovo isn't gonna support it anymore.

Well, lucky I ordered with no rush, I can cancel it. I've been reading some reviews and the amount of negative to positive is similar to the 7" model, which by the way I really like, it's fast, no problems at all. But I don't want to make $150 mistake either, if you can think of any other 9" or 10" ones, please let us know.
Another good thing about this 10" is that this is wide screen, not squarish like samsung or iPad, is that correct? So movies should look a lot better on this?

I remember considering the Asus 9" one or the Lenovo 10" before, but those were all $225 range, so this is why I thought this tablet was a home run at this price. Maybe I can hunt for iPad air 1 for like $200-$250? Since Ipad Air 2 was $300 just the other day on bb?
