man TVs are getting so cheap I always find myself saying "well, may as well wait another month"

At the bottom of the listing there's "more Samsung..." and some jackass has a completely shattered TV on eBay for $200... "Um I'm sorry sir... that is actually TRASH... not $200".

Anyway... Since Prime Day TVs were a total disappointment... I'm 99% sure I'll be buying one from BuyDig on one of these ebay deals... just waiting for a repeat/improvement on the 1750/65... or the 2450/Oled 65... whichever happens first, wins.

If you can swing a 50"... This seems pretty cheap... but I expect even a 65" will seem normal after a few weeks in the house.

Here's a comparison site to give you an idea of the difference in TV sizes (which can otherwise be hard to visualize)... Even 50 to 55 for another hundred seems like a no-brainer to me, but if you're talking equal pic quality to spend 2x as much to go 65... I'd even do that if you can fit the 65.

My rule is always a maximum $10 per inch to pull the trigger on a TV with specs I'm looking for. That's what holds me back from buying new tech immediately.

That looks decent, and I'd be more likely to buy that one based on the "display wars" comparison... i.e. I think 60" will look huge compared to a 50"... but I'm certainly no expert on TVs. I may look into that model a little further... I have 2 goals... upgrading my own TV, which is pretty good already... and upgrading my Mom's TV, which currently sucks... so she will get my 55" plasma.

the size of the screen is directly proportionate to the distance your couch is from it. size only matters depending on how far away you sit

what do you mean by old school, isn't the h7c a 2016 model
