same deal as yesterday but looks like the fixed the model number this time from 65UH6500 to 65UH5500. no idea what the difference was and from reading yesterday's thread no one really seemed to be able to figure that out either. but everyone wanted the 65UH6500

I Sure would like to get this but there is absolutely NO REVIEWS for this model. After spending a few hours reading everything I could find the main questions seem to be, are sets always 60hrz at 4k, is it 120hrz at 1080. Is it real 4k? Some say it might not be, whatever that means. Can anyone weigh in, I would really like to get this but don't want to purchase a potentially bad TV.

The specs are a little different from the 6500 yesterday, the main difference I think is the LED backlit LCD TV, would like some clarity on that as well.

LG LED TVs aren't exactly known for their performance to begin with, and this is a 5500 series, so it's fair to assume it's not as good as the cheapo 6500, let alone the 9500 that seems to be their top 65" model (and got a 7.2 from rtings.com). If their flagship scores a 7.2, do you want to pay a grand for the budget model?

It's $749 (with Dell credit) but you make a good point.

saw display at local store. Basic low end model. Rear lower half area is VERY thick.

Can't comment on quality as display modes doesn't do squat.

I asked LG about the specs on this TV and they confirmed 4k 4:4:4 @ 60hz which is nice I think.
