Thanks OP! Been watching the price for a while and it rarely goes below $28-30.

I've used this at home and work for years. Doesn't seem like Logitech will ever improve on the current model. At this price I am stocking up in case they discontinue it altogether.

Great price! I got these so slightly cheaper a couple of months ago. I use them both at work and home. Trackball takes some time to get used to but your wrists will thank you.

So is this really good for preventing carpal tunnel?

In my experience technically yes but your thumb ends up hurting a lot so it defeats the purpose. For me the best most comfortable mouse I have ever used for long periods of time (work) has been this Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic mouse:

Sure it looks a bit ugly but it feels very comfortable. I use it at home and work.

Been using one at work for the last 4 months and it is really nice, especially with limited space and a triple-display set up. Been waiting for this price for a while now.

Just a heads up on these, they are horrible ergonomic wise for you, a large tech company banned them from employee use due to ergo injuries resulting from them , so just make sure you take micro breaks!

No they just cause it in your thumb, they are banned from my company use due to ergo risks.

Consider a joystick mouse instead if you are at risk for carpal

I have been steadily using this mouse at work for over a year and have not experienced any pain. The only downside that comes to mind is that it is not ambidextrous, but I wholly recommend the product for this price.
