Some really nice headphones at a good deal with the included amp. Not the 60 ohm version, so at least I don't need a stronger amp. :o Tempted at this price.

This headphone NEEDS an amp to perform properly. They sell portable battery powered amps that drive them well, but in all honesty you want to listen to these in a quiet room for them to truly shine. Paired with a good amp you will be very pleasantly surprised.

Woah when did the Premium version get this low?? It used to only be the "discount" Pro version that was priced like this. I got the Premium version on sale last year for $220 and that was off a $350 normal price at the time.

I have the 250ohm version of these headphones and love them. Comfortable and sound great. Really bulky though, so I only use them in my apartment and never on the go. They are also open backed so they leak sound (on purpose)

Not this 32ohm version. Hell I run the 250ohm version straight out of my desktop, laptop, and phone and can't tolerate more than 60% volume out of the weakest of those (phone).

How do these compare to the bose/sene's on amazon yesterday?

From what I've read on headfi in the past, 32 ohm for this model isn't really worth it. 250 and 600 is where they shine. But then again, it is a low price.

This is completely incorrect. The simple question is what are you going to be using this with. Direct to an iPod, computer or maybe even a nice portable amp or low impedance amp? These are perfect! If you have a nice amp, whether portable or not, the 250s are wonderful. If you're going to be sitting and listening to music through a nice powerful amp, then the 600s are the way to go.

Yes, there are small differences between all of them and the 600 ohms will probably offer the best overall sound, but it's a very small difference. The 990s are all designed to give you the same experience when listening to music. Again, your source is what's most important in determining which version you buy.
