I'm never one to thread crap intentionally but... for your health, please do not wear these. Especially for extend periods of time. Especially for athletics. Especially if you are overweight. Bad shoes are the main cause for poor spinal health. Poor spinal health creates other issues.

Now that I'm off of my soapbox, I'm gonna go eat a box of poptarts. Sorry
I owned a pair of this exact shoe and the sole started to come off on my rear passenger side in about 6 weeks. I wore them frequently but not every day. We're not the most comfy but we're ok. I would not buy again even for $8. Just my .02
I had to give you a rep for saying the rear passenger side came off!

I actually appreciate the reminder. any reason to believe these are bad shoes besides the price/fact that it's walmart? haven't worn starter shoes in decades

I've never had the memory foam ones but I do know the Starters I had were not very comfortable... I would say feel them out but be forewarned. Maybe the memory form is an improvement but I think it's more dependent on the shape of the shoe and/or foot...

I bought a pair just because. This is definitely slick. Don't complain about comfort under ten bucks lol.

In for a 7 1/2 for a backup pair of shoes. I will now own two pairs of sneakers.

These last about three months before the soles wear out, but for $3.03 a month, not a bad deal.
