Hello all

I found the set of Fast & Furious 1-7 Boxset (Includes UltraViolet Copy) Blu-ray for $26 region free +$1.50 flat shipping. That's almost $10 bucks lower than Amazon's prime day deal! Smilie - DEAD

http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/fast...rrency=USD

There are also some other good Blu ray deals, including:

Back to the future trilogy $15 region free - now $14.95
http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/back...51005.html

Lethal Weapon 1-4 $15 region free - now $17.67
http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/leth...37041.html

Others (make sure to go to product info to verify region free under region section):

I've used this site before, shipping normally takes about 10 days. Other than that no problems with my previous orders.

Please note you should confirm purchases in the webpage are region free blu rays as DVDs will not work in the US

So, since they are region free, I'll be able to watch them with no issues on my US blu ray player or Xbox One? Just trying to make sure if they'll work or not.

great deal of the F&F Question. How are UK UV codes redeemed in the states?

Honestly nothing, unless you are in a hurry. If so, you can subjectively decide some arbitrary number, and feel better. Most have seen them already, so no hurry to add to the collection. Or you could refuse the Amazon order and save $. I wouldn't mess with it though. Done is done. Hope this helps.

The value isn't the shipping, it's in the UV codes that will be usable in the US.

UV codes that are included in thse deals from the UK (often there are none) generally are not.

You have a good point for anyone who wants that feature, but that wasn't the original question I was responding to. I would have suggested you quote them and add to their post instead.
You know - more of an additional positive AMZ point, than a debate of the other things I wasn't mentioning.

Along those tangential lines, other pertinent positives for AMZ are, more reputable company, tracking of all purchase history always at your fingertips, good customer service - to name a few. So you could also ask yourself what that stuff is worth. The answer is always going to be YMMV.

Be careful with the Fast and Furious. According to reviews on Amazon [amazon.com] for this item the UV Digital HD Can Not be Used in the US.

I purchased this one [amazon.com] on Prime day for $26.80.

Just a word of caution for those that are buying these discounted sets for the UV copies. I've purchased region free Blu-rays with UV codes in the past and used a proxy from the country of origin and could usually redeem the UV code. I was able to watch the digital copies on my iPad or PC, but I could not use my Chromecast to stream them to my TV. Although the title shows up in my Vudu library on my iPad, it does not have the option to use your Chromecast. I also tried to use the Vudu app on my Playstation to watch them over my TV, but the titles were missing. I contacted Vudu and they said the reason is because it is a foreign code and there is nothing they can do about it.

Long story short, you should be able to redeem the UV codes with a proxy, but there is a good chance that you won't be able to view them on your TV via Chromecast or Vudu app.
