Thanks OP. I don't need all this power but my current PSU (Corsair CX450) has a noisy fan. The Eco mode on this EVGA looks attractive.

Dang... I should've waited for this deal again. I opted for the Corsair RM650x for $70AR.

Yes. You could run 2 in sli on 650w even with a mild overclock.

Seems like a decent unit at the $55 price point.

Note that this the "GQ" line of EVGA branded power supplies is built by FSP.

Not to be confused with the GS line built by Seasonic or the G2 line built by Superflower or the G1 line also built by FSP? . Ok, maybe it is confusing Big Grin

I have this power supply and it has been great. The fan doesn't even spin until it gets a decent load on it. It is quiet when it does spin. This price is excellent.

My only gripe is I wish it had a slightly longer ATX power cable (the only cable that isn't modular on this model). I couldn't make it around the back of my motherboard and had to go across the top instead. That said, I'd buy it again.

I noticed people mentioning fit. Can someone please advise on what size towers and motherboards will work with this? I'm still researching parts for a new PC and haven't decided on a case/MB yet
