I picked his up earlier in the week. Was previously $999. For those who don't have one BJ's is a wholesale club like Sams's or Costco's in the Northeast.

Great TV but for some reason my PC doesn't let me select 10bit color in 4:4:4 mode even with HDMI 2.0 and UHD color enabled driven by a GTX 1070, but my 10bit LG 27" 4K monitor works fine.

Also, I believe AMEX has a 5% cash back offer for BJ's purchases.

If you are running through a receiver, a lot of times you have to change the settings on particular inputs to receive 4:4:4 10bit.

I did this Amex deal to get this TV a month or so back when it was $999.99. I'll go in to get the price adjusted (90 days to return). Thanks OP!

BTW, perfect as a monitor, which is my main use for it (along with the HP Envy 750se Desktop I got in December: 980Ti).

Thanks for the tip. I'm running it direct from my Windows 10 PC with a latest generation NVidia GTX 1070 video card using a High speed 18Gbps HDMI cable and latest drivers, but I still only get an option for 8bit color in the NVidia control panel. I tried searching for solutions and came up with nothing.

Does anyone have this working at 10bit color as a monitor?

There isnt enough bandwidth in HDMI 2.0 for 60hz, 4:4:4, and 10bit....have to use displayport 1.4(?)..why i am waiting for next gen hdmi or TV manufacturers to get on board with DP

JS9500 is top of the line in 2015. Full-Array Back Light (available on 65" 78" 88")
JS9000 Edge Back Light (available on 48" 55" 65")

2016 KS models improved on contrast, black uniformity, brightness (by quite a margin). addressing judder issue on 24p via 60p/60i. Black uniformity are excellent on JS, better on KS. If you compare JS KS on dark scene you can see the difference very well. Tizen (Samsung smart TV os) supposedly is better on 2016. Added Moth Eye tech., improved HDR and Quantum Dot.

JS has 3D, and I do have to say at $800 , you should compare it to comparably priced set.

Picked it up from Local BJs, they haven't changed pricing on the shelves yet. It was priced at $999 on the shelve, but rang up as $799. \
Don't forget Chase Freedom offers 5% from wholesale clubs.
