Curious as to how you found it in store when the listing says "not sold in stores". It was probably was a customer return! Confused

when he clearances a item nationwide, they list that on their website. then the stores sell out their stock.

Got one of each. Think I may pick up a few more sensors.

quick question, can I add the shut off valve to a steam furnace as well?

I don't think it is a return though.Because they are having 5-6 Values & 15-20 Sensors in stock. So I highly doubt it as a return

Drat - I got really excited when I saw this, but I need one that is rated for outdoors (that's the only common point for my water inlet).

I'm looking for motion and temperature sensor in one unit. I see Monoprice ones for around $32 online but nothing around $15-20. Was hoping to find a deal on one somewhere.

I saw these at my local HD at this clearance price last weekend. I did some research and opted not to buy, finding the following: 1. They do not currently have an IFTTT channel. 2. The valve is required for the sensor to work. 3. Numerous reviews mention unreliable connection

Per allot of discussion on the Wink Facebook group, the senors integrate with Wink just fine without the valve, outputting there water status and the temperature.

Picked up the sensors at my local store on Sunday and can confirm they work just fine with my Wink hub without the valve.

$20 would be slick. Thesmartesthouse.com has one for $29 http://www.thesmartesthouse.com/c...nsor-zse40 if you're in a rush. I passed b/c no direct power option, but it may work for you...

I'm still trying to use it. My brand new hub was DOA. Sent another and that now works but my sensor is a mess. At 1st test, it works perfectly and I tried it once again and it did not sense the leak. I had to delete and add the sensor again. That worked but I ran into the same problem again. Now I opened it up and found water inside. It's supposed to be water sealed. Now it's now turning on at all. Just left a message with the company and waiting for an answer.
