Only problem with these thing is when you connect with bt it interferes with your WiFi. Just like if you connect bt headphone at night so you don't bother anyone.

I use both a BT mini keyboard, and BT headphones with my FireTV, and have no problems with my wifi at all.

You are probably on 5ghz, the fire stick can only get 2.4 ghz band.
I'm also referring use with kodi.

i remember when there were a flood of deals on this lenovo multimedia remote [ebay.com] and the backlit version. it always looked decent, but i never ended up picking one up, and if i recall correctly, it wasn't really that great. this seems decent for $10, i doubt the lenovo is $20 better

This is incorrect. The Fire TV Stick has 5ghz support.

I'm sorry you are right. My fire stick is too far from my router to pickup the signal.

Amazon is doing some weird stuff lately. the shipping is supposed to be free (I do have Prime), but the only shipping option it's giving me is a $3.99 express shipping.

Amazon Prime shipping is FREE 2 day shipping for this item. One day shipping is $3.99 for this item.
What do you want?
Can't you choose 2 day shipping for free?
