Thread Details

I bought a lot of things yesterday on amazon prime day. One of my major purchased was the instant pot on sale for 69.99. I already own one and both my sister and Mom wanted one. My sister who was working and unable to place an order asked me to since she assumed they would be sold out when she was done her shift. My Mom who lives in a mother-in-laws apartment at my home also bought one. Amazon canceled her order. I understand one per residence but she has he own unit and does not live with me. She is so upset that amazon would do this to her.
Has anybody had any luck getting amazon to reinstate an order?
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Tends to happen when nonsensical threads are started. No one here has direct access to the Amazon ordering system.

Only you can call and explain what you state is the situation. If they want to believe you and then are able to redo the order...it will be YMMV at best.

I can see how that would be very upsetting, good luck in getting this resolved.

I simply asked if anyone had experience in the past. Thats it.

Which will have no effect on your particular case or the particular agent you talk to.

Telling them: "Well, I heard HelloKittyLver420 over on a deal-finding site got their order reinstated...so I demand mine does also ! " will get you nowhere with them.

Only you can talk with them about your situation.

I had similar disappointment. After having a great prime day I got the canceled order email for one of my S&S orders. (Yes, I ordered 2 of the item--I honestly didn't realize it was limit 1). Now I'm worried my account was flagged although most likely it's a mass email program sending out the cancellation notices. I think your situation/order is totally legit and they should have let it go through imo.

Edit: I was just going to try and stay off Amazon's radar but I received a package today from Amazon with items I do use (though never tried these brands) and I didn't order it--I asked family members and they have no clue and there's no receipt or order number. Wishful thinking is that it's a prime day surprise, but I suspect maybe label error (happened once before where UPS misprinted the label for an item meant for me). Don't know if I should call customer service esp since I had a weird return issue prior.

A similar deal is up now, IP-LUX60 6 in 1 for $70. Gold Box deal, so quantity is limited.

Hope this helps.
