This is the G935FD International GSM phone. It works on AT&T and T-Mobile.

The original manufacturer's warranty is not valid for this version of Samsung Galaxy. The seller provides a warranty within 30 days of purchase to return the item for a refund. Items accepted back for a refund due to buyers remorse is subject to a restocking fee of 15%. They provide a warranty within 60 days of purchase for a device exchange of the same model device.

The next lowest price I could find for this was always in the $600+ range.

What's the difference between this model 935FD and 935F? Which one is better for USA Tmobile 4G LTE and also use in China

Both are international version and unlocked to any GSM carrier. 935D where D stands for dual sim. Memory card slot can be used for second sim.

Anyone knows if the phone will lock to the carrier when you insert the sim and power on for the first time as reported by the media?

Did you even read the story you linked? It says it does not apply to unlocked phones.

I have this phone on Cricket (and previously ATT) and nothing got installed. Also I can tether and hotspot on Cricket without paying extra.

Unfortunately this is an international/dual SIM version that doesn't support Samsung Pay out of the box. I read that to get Samsung Pay to work we would need an firmware or apk or both and some people couldn't get that to work even

hey Ragazzo87, I wasn't able to find any warranty information on this phone. I'm not sure, I hate assumptions but I will assume it does not. I posted a question to the seller to find out
