Target has an ongoing weekly deal for Samsung Galaxy S7 phones. you get a 'gaureenteed' trade in value of $300 when you upgrade. check the target weekly deal flyer.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Do you happen to know if you can use it on Page Plus, since Verizon owns them?

was wondering the same thing....

late last year, Verizon accepted my $5 and $10 prepaid LG phones as trade-in and gave me $300 for each. I got three Note 5 and two LG G4 for almost nothing. Sure hope they bring back that promotion when the Note 7 comes out in a couple of months. I am prepared with a dozen dirt cheap prepaid Verizon phones in reserve.

Verizon does not own Page Plus.... Page Plus is owned by Tracfone they just use Verizon service towers.

Also according to Target website:
"With 2-year activation and use of guaranteed $300 trade-in value on Verizon. Reg. 199.99
Carriers, coverage and products vary by store. Price requires credit approval & may require deposit. Subject to carrier agreement Terms & Conditions, including up to $45 activation/upgrade & up to $350 early-termination fees per line with 2-year agreement. Monthly access, data, overage, taxes & other charges apply. Price match not valid on mobile phones."

Thank you posting the fine print, this is helpful. I do wonder however since the S7 is only 199 on 2 year contract and that fact that they are guaranteeing $300. Could the left over $100 be used somewhere else? Nice deal if you are ok with 2 year contract.

If you were looking to cancel...
Phone - 1 cent
Activation - 20-45
ETF - 350
First Month - 55 with 2GB
Total - ~425-450

Which is not bad considering Best Buy is sell refurb S& Edge for $494

Does anyone know if early termination hurts your credit score?

Also keep in mind that another part of the fine print says explicitly that the trade in phone must belong in their catalog, I went here to see if mine was available.

Add
Cost of Trade in phone (needs to be available in Target catalog) - min $60
taxes depending on your state. - For me it adds another ~$40

So, total cost turns out to be 525-550. But for brand new Galaxy S7 edge, not bad.
