Hi there fellow SD'ers! Here we have the PDP Wired Gamecube style Fight Pad controllers for Wii/ Wii U - shipped from and sold by Amazon.com for $9.99! What makes this deal so special is that it's not just the "Metal Mario" version this time around for the $9.99 price its ALL the popular ones listed below:

Donkey Kong
Luigi
[amazon.com] - no longer available
Metal Mario
Mario
Peach
[amazon.com]
Samus
[amazon.com] - no longer available
Yoshi
[amazon.com] - no longer available

The reviews are here and there on these so weigh that before buying, I remember when the Metal Mario ones were on sale the last time another SD'er claimed they had one and they worked great so there's that... Remember, these have to be plugged into the Wii/Wii U controllers to work. They cannot be plugged directly into the Wii or a Gamecube so be aware of that too.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Yes... as long as it's plugged into the Wii remote it takes over the button config of the Wii remote.

These aren't a good experience for smash at all, especially melee. Why handicap yourself with crappy equipment?

Geesh, you must have some terrible luck there, according to other reviewers there's some happy gamers and a few problems for others. I would think after your second failed controller you would have moved onto another choice for your Gamecube controller needs... may I suggest THIS [amazon.com]. Of course it's over twice as expensive but it is rated 5-Stars with nearly 850 reviews...

LOL... "a thing" you mean a modded Wii with a HD full of game ROMs? I honestly can't answer that one, we use old Gamecube controllers in the ports on our modded Wii.

I'm interested in this question as well, it would remove the length of cord that stretches from the Wii to the kid and instead put a small bit of cord into their lap, away from others to trip over... I don't see why it wouldn't, as I mentioned, it just remaps the Wii controller to the new controller.

I said thing because most people don't know what I'm talking about lol. I asked before when it was on sale but no one could answer.
Also I have second party controllers but there pretty bad.
