Don't worry, I've gotten tired of posting that on SD's... Morons just don't know how to google.
There isn't a single 4K 120 Hz content on the planet, but people here keep drudging up the 120 Hz shit.
Every 4K panel is 60 Hz regardless of what they say. I did some research and was shocked to find that out.

Lots of pent-up rage involving TV specs. Btw, I have a 32-inch Dynex I purchased from Best Buy in 2009, and i can play bowling on it with my wii.

Fry's is selling it for $899 if you sign up for their emails. Also, this tv is 60hz. I actually purchased it, but I'm going to return it.

The $480 50" seems to be the real deal here.

Does it do 4:4:4 chroma?

I'm looking to replace a 20-30-20 PLP monitor setup (1200x1600, 2560x1600, 1200x1600). Kinda wanted a curve screen, but the arc radii are so large I don't think it will matter that much. HDR on the other hand could be cool for videos or games.

I asked LG and they confirmed 4k 4:4:4 @60hz

There was also the debate about whether these TVs use "fake 4k" aka RGBW, so I asked LG and they said that this model uses RGB.

But LG told me that even at 1080 is 60hz.

According to the LG rep at ABT, the panel displays 1080 at 60hz as well. I know there is no 4k 120hz content now, but since I'll have the tv for more then a few months, I'd like to know I can support 120hz and not just Tru Motion 120 hz when content is released.

This TV is a special model made specifically for stores like Frys, Best Buy, etc. to lure people into the store with it's lower price.

Check the LG website - it's full specs are not listed, nor has anyone done a review of this model. Google doesn't help you when the information is not out there.

Sincerely, Moron

Yes it should be, I asked LG about the UH5500 series and they confirmed 4k 4:4:4 at 60hz.

They also confirmed RGB not RGBW (which is a good thing because RGBW has been deemed by many as fake 4k or faux-K)

I pulled the trigger on the 65" UH5500, which should have the exact same specs other than size and weight.

This is probably better than the 50" Hisense HDR. Hoping there's a price war between HDR sets come Black Friday
