Newegg currently has a 15% promo going for a few select motherboards, the MSI Z170A SLI being one of them.

This seems to be a great deal on a Z170 chipset motherboard with SLI, the Realtek ALC1150 audio chip (supposedly one of the best), the Intel Intel I219-V LAN chip (also supposed to be good), and apparently it's a pretty good overclocker (based on reviews of the Z170A SLI Plus, which, for overclocking, should be the same as this one). Also has 1 x USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port, and 1 x M.2 port.

$114.99 - $17.25 (15% promo) - $10 MIR = $87.74 + $3.99 for shipping, or free shipping if you have Newegg Premier and/or Shoprunner.

Promo code is EMCELFJ23 - supposedly good til 07/21/16

Regular price is $129.99 for this board, so there's already a $15 discount on it. I'm unsure how long that's good til.

Rebate is good though 07/31 - http://images10.newegg.com/upload...16jd56.pdf

Edit: Bear in mind that this does not include any video outputs (the MSI Z170A SLI Plus does), so a discrete graphics card would be required for this motherboard - not a board for using only integrated graphics.

I agree, being that it's an SLI board. You wouldn't have to use the SLI feature though, as it has pretty nice features for the price even when not factoring in SLI. Most boards come with some form of video output though, so I posted the heads up just in case.

Yeah how hard is it to add a single HDMI port on it, why would they skip on that. Not like I ever needed it for real, but for troubleshooting when GPU gives you problems, it's great.
Also it's a shame GTX 1060 will not have SLI, would be a great combo with this mobo

This is a great board for the price, probably the best in my opinion around ~$100. I'm using an MSI Z170A SLI Plus version and it handles my 6600K @ 4.8ghz+ just fine. Planning to get an RX 480 and not run SLI. Using usb type-c with my Nexus 6p and the onboard audio is great too.

agree. its kinda hard to troubleshoot a problem in your gpu when you have no onboard graphics. as the op said the plus model has it. maybe they realized it and they did not want to recall the old boards. lol.
